Embattled Ohio State head football coach Jim Tressel says he wants the same punishment as his players for violating NCAA rules. Tressel was suspended by Ohio State for two games in the upcoming season, and fined $250,000 after a Yahoo Sports report said Tressel withheld information about Ohio State players selling memorabilia.

Student-Athletes are prohibited from selling memorabilia by the NCAA.

The players suspension was handed down by the NCAA, not Ohio State. An appeal to the NCAA to lift the players suspension was denied yesterday.
