Everybody familiar with Super Bowl hero lore knows it can get cold in Dallas. Joe Montana’s famous Chicken Soup Game took place on New Year’s Day 1979 in the Cotton Bowl. Dallas was then, like now, experiencing freezing temperatures. Montana had hypothermia by halftime.
