Tito, Out: Red Sox Manager Francona Will Not Return
The reports are out there. Terry “Tito” Francona will not return as manager of the Red Sox after the team’s historic September collapse caused them to miss the playoffs.
Francona is apparently not being fired, technically. But his time in the Boston dugout is, apparently, done.
Francona managed the Red Sox to the 2004 and 2007 World Series titles, Boston’s first since 1918.

Terry- Thanks for the memories but it’s time. You became friends with the players and you both lost respect for each other. It happens. I cant criticize you beyond that since I didn’t walk in your shoes. I do know that a few members on the team aside from yourself, led a rebellion to demoralize the team instead of being suspended.
You see, the problem is paying these over rated children millions of dollars in advance. So whether they play ball or drink beer before the game , they still get paid. This is exactly how you do NOT run a business or a ball team. The owners of each team need to revamp and pay people according to how they play. Win a game and they get paid their usual $200,000 weekly pay. Lose a game and you get $20,000.
All we have right now are millionaires all entertaining us with folly and fraud while the fans pay the tab. It’s time to change baseball and maybe the owners need to rethink the payroll.

you don’t think your pay incentive idea would destroy morale and team chemistry?
